The Trump Taj will undergo a revamp that is major order to become the tough Rock Atlantic City. The minarets have to go. And the faux Mughal architecture, that’s out too.
‘Little Steven’ van Zandt and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were both present at the tough Rock press meeting on where it was announced that the Taj would be changed completely before it reopens as a Hard Rock property wednesday.
That vaulted dome, the main one that moved a 40-something donald trump to proclaim he had created the ‘eighth wonder worldwide’ … well, just forget about it. It’s coming off. It is so 1990.
Instead, there will be refreshing straight lines, a significant load of electric guitars every where ( since you can not have too a lot of those, right?) and neither a dome nor a decorative spire around the corner.
This is the $375 million redesign regarding the Taj, announced by its brand name owner that is new tough Rock International, at a press conference Wednesday.
‘There will not be one… and underscore the word ‘one’… piece of design, architecture, minaret or anything remaining from the Taj Mahal,’ Hard Rock CEO Jim Allen said. ‘it is being removed by us all.’
